Obituary of Patricia Ann Peterson

Patricia Ann Peterson passed away peacefully at home in Hugo, Colorado on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Pat was born on September 18, 1940 to Leonard and Anna Lorea Lakey. She was the eldest of five children. She met her husband-to-be, James D. Peterson, at a VFW dance in Hugo, Colorado and they were married on April 28, 1962. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronald E. Lakey and her first husband, Donnie D. Webb. She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) D. Peterson of Hugo, Colorado; and her children, Shawnee S. (David) Dobbs of Hugo, Colorado; Shanna L. Peterson of Yuma, Colorado; and John R. Peterson of Hugo, Colorado. She is also survived by her siblings; Robert M. (Nancy) Lakey of Mesa, Arizona; Linda (Thomas) Helgeson of Billings, Montana; and Deborah G. (Allen) Smith of Hugo, Colorado. As per Pat’s request, she was cremated and there will be no services.
