Obituary of Catherine V Kelly

August 30, 1939 – February 3, 2020 Catherine was born on August 30, 1939 in Liverpool, England to Patrick and Mary Carney (McIntosh). She was the youngest girl of eight children: Tony, John, Patrick, Christopher, Mary, Patsy and Robert. As a young girl, she would work various jobs while helping her father attend to the family farm. She graduated from High School in Liverpool, England in 1955 and was a talented singer who enjoyed singing in the local pubs. In 1962, she met Willis Kelly while he was stationed in France while serving in the U.S. Air Force. It was upon that meeting that they traveled back to the United States and started their family. Upon arriving in the United States, the couple were married and raised their three sons: Willis Jr, Wade and Cade in Denver, Colorado. Catherine was a hard worker who established a career among companies such as Coors Brewery, IBM and Walmart in Golden, Colorado. She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, baking, playing Yahtzee and spending time with her family. She was very active in her church and enjoyed singing with the choir. She was devoted to her family who lives in Colorado and Liverpool, England. She is survived by her sons: Willis of Aurora, Wade (Danelle) of Yoder, and Cade of Rush and six grand-children: Joshua, Zachary, Jessica, Dylan, Jaiden and Addison. She is also survived by her brothers: Christopher (Hilary) and Patrick (Mary) Tony (Collie) and her sister, Mary all of Liverpool, England. She is preceded in death by her parents: Patrick and Mary, brothers: Robert, John, and her sister Patsy as well as her infant son Patrick Henry Kelly. She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews on the Carney side who also live in Liverpool, England. We will all miss her very much. Her Memorial Service will be held February 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, please share your fondest memory of Catherine.
