Obituary of Verabelle Wallace
Verabelle Wallace was born 12/25/1919 in Fargo Township, Seward County, Kansas, to Ralph and Margaret Rinehart. She passed away on 12/27/2019 at the age of 100 in Aurora, Colorado.
Verabelle married Guy Wallace on November 12, 1938 in Stafford, Kansas. They made their home in Limon for over 60 years. Verabelle was a homemaker, with interests in sewing, quilting, cake decorating, and ceramics.
Verabelle is survived by her daughter, Shirley (John) Eitel; son, Darriel (Marie) Wallace; son, Richard (Vicki)Wallace; daughter Margaret Phillips, brother Jack (Vee) Rinehart and 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy; parents, Pete and Peanut Rinehart; son, Larry; sisters, Marjorie Elliott and Deloris Baier; son-in-law, Rich Phillips; grand-son-in-law, Mike Lang Sr.
The funeral service was held on 1/3/2020 at The First United Methodist Church with burial at Pershing Cemetery in Limon, Colorado. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Limon.
