She made two birthday cakes every year for Delores and Betty since they were born on the same day. She decorated each one beautifully. Vena was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Deer Trail, CO and was baptized in the church. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and was always a great fund raiser with the poppies and the knives she would sell for this organization.
