Obituary of Dalton Montgomery

D.J. Montgomery, age 82 , of Rush, Colorado, died March 4, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 15, 1932 in Cross Plains, TX to the late Lula Price Montgomery and Lee Roy Montgomery. D.J. was the owner/operator of ABC Trim in Colorado Springs for over 35 years and a cattle rancher. Prior to that he was an Aviation Engineer for LTV Aircraft in Detroit, Michigan for many years after serving as an Engineman in the US Navy from 1950-54, a veteran of the Korean War. D.J. is survived by his wife Arlene, brothers Glen and Jonnie, sons D.J. and Carl, stepsons Sam Colley, Bob Colley and stepdaughters Colley Fisher and Candy Sherwood and many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his late wife Judie Montgomery, brothers Lee Roy, Jackson, Lawrence, Robert and sisters Eva Lena Hines and May Cannon.
