Obituary of Sharon A Johnson

Sharon Ann Johnson, 80 years old passed away on October 2nd, 2019. She was born on January 30th, 1939 to Meldon and Ruth Chubbuck. Sharon grew up on the family farm north of Arriba along with her siblings Gerald (Esther) Chubbuck, Don (Dolores) Chubbuck and, Yvonne ( Robert) McCaleb.

Sharon married Elwood Johnson on May 1st, 1959. On August 11, 1961, they had a son Jack ( Sharon) Johnson. Then November 1962 they had a daughter Gala Johnson. They became very proud grandparents in February 1997 grandson Dylan and in August 2002 got a granddaughter Shelby.

When Bud retired in 1987 they became snowbirds going to Texas for the winter. They spent 29 wonderful winters in Texas. Sharon loved playing cards, board games, jigsaw puzzles and, loved reading. She loved people, she could make friends everywhere she went.

She was preceded in death by her parents Meldon and Ruth Chubbuck, her husband Bud Johnson, and brother Gerald Chubbuck.

She is survived by her brother Don Chubbuck, sister Yvonne, sister-in-law's Ester and Delores, son Jack, daughter Gala and grandkids Dylan and Shelby. Lots of other family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
