Obituary of Kenneth R. Bylsma

Ken was born November 2, 1926. Ken had many careers in his life, pilot, trucker, stunt boat driver, electronics/computers and lastly rancher/farmer.  He was active in his community through many types of volunteering.  He was a very busy volunteer later in life with a branch of Colorado Shares – a food bank/more co-op in the Ramah Community and services to churches in the larger community.

Ken a widower, married twice with Dorothy fathering two sons Gary Bylsma of Elizabeth, CO & Michael Bylsma of Hudson, CO.  His second wife Norma had three daughters, Linda Wills (dec); Jean Shupps of Wheat Ridge, CO and Dora Switzer of Lakewood, CO. His most recent residence was on property near Ramah, CO where he resided for 40 plus years with Norma. He passed away at the age of 92 in Lakewood, CO in an excellent care center for four plus years.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Love Funeral Home Chapel.   Interment at Sproch Cemetery, Ramah, CO
