Obituary of Joyce A. McQueen

Joyce A. McQueen, 80, passed away on October 17, 2018 in Simla, Colorado. She was born July 4, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to Stewart and Veva (Downer) Tester. She was one of thirteen children.

Joyce was married to Clifford McQueen in 1958. They had three children. Her son Dave McQueen preceded her in death.

She had many enjoyments in life. She was in the Navy for two years and enjoyed it.  She loved playing softball and watching her sons play baseball. She always helped the umpire call the games. She enjoyed spending time with her family, both local and out of town. She liked visiting her family back in Michigan. She always put others before herself. She liked listening to country   music.

Joyce is survived by her husband Clifford, sons, Vern (Laura) and Harry (Judy), ten grandchildren, and       numerous great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Calhan Methodist Church, 581 Denver Street, Calhan. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial in the Simla Cemetery.
