Loved reading her story here and learning some things. But what I did know and so agree with is her great smile and her sense of humor. I'm thankful I knew her and so sorry I was not able to attend her memorial service and see you, Marilyn, Margie and Merridee.

Sending expressions of sincere condolences to the family of Leora Green. May your many fond memories comfort you during this difficult time. Soothing words of comfort are also found in God's Word at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials...."
We look forward to the time when God's Kingdom replaces funerals with happy reunions; a time when tears of joy will replace tears of sorrow and even death will be no more (Revelations 21:4).

To Leora's family ~ My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. I am saddened by your mother's passing but know she had lived a good life and I feel very fortunate to have known your parents from the time I was young and the family lived in the Genoa community where I was raised. To have been able to keep in touch with her until in recent years was a blessing. Please touch base with me so that I may share memories.

Condolences from the Ottem family. I'm sure Lee will be very much missed. She and Loren were good neighbors to my folks, and among their best friends. When they lived northwest of Genoa, their place was directly south of ours, and they were always a lively part of the neighborhood get-togethers. Lee and my mother were the same age. Lee always seemed more like an aunt to me than "just a neighbor." Although I hadn't seen her in more than 10 years, I'm sorry to hear of her passing. She and Loren were definitely "salt-of-the-earth" people.

Lee was a second mother to me and I treasured her friendship. A very special lady who always had a smile. Two of my fondest memories of her were her participation in a "snipe" hunt many years ago and snuggling with Loren in the front seat of their car!! What a wonderful life she lived. Love to Marilyn, Margie, Meridee and families on the loss of their wonderful mother.
