Longtime Kit Carson County resident Randall J. Dreitz passed away October 17, 2005 at the Saint Anthonyâs Central Hospital in Denver, Colorado, after a brief illness. He was 49 years old.
Randall was born December 8, 1955 in Burlington, Colorado to Alvin and Mildred (Pelle) Dreitz. He was the third oldest of six children. His youth and teen years were spent in school at Bethune, where he graduated in 1974.

With this marriage he accepted a step daughter Dalene Rowley. Randall lived to farm. He worked for several farmers and dealerships in Burlington, including Chadderton Ford Mercury and Wagner Equipment. He also worked for a nursing home in Loveland, but returned to farm for his dream.
