Our thoughts are with all of you at this time. Elva was a wonderful lady, a very special aunt and sister-in-law. At least she is at peace and in the heavens. She is with Charles and both of them shine down upon us from the stars. I have fond memories of stopping in to see Elva and Charles. One item was the quest book, to sign in for each visit. I'm glad Elva kept up the book after Charles past, the surprising thing was for me, she could quickly tell you when you were last there, and could find you in the book to prove the date. Another fond memory was from my childhood, at the age of approx 9-10yrs old when I came out to Colorado on the train for the summer. She had me churn butter! I will always remember the experience of such a task, even thou I am sure at the time I probably did not care for the job. Colorado was always a stopping point for me when I started driving. My roommate and I came out almost every Memorial Day holiday week-end. I will always cherish the memories of a wonderful Aunt & Uncle. May they both rest in peace, finally together again. Sorry we were unable to attend the services. Your family was in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Love, always Ruth Ann & Ruth

Many memorable trips to Grandma's. I think of Grandma's cooking; homemade bread, cookies, fried chicken and mountain oysters (first seeing them in the stainless steel bucket). You will always have a place in my heart.

Dear Kathy and Jimmie, Sorry I could not be there with you today to share in the celebration of your Mother's life. Please know you are in my prayers. I hope you enjoy each other's company during Christmas, just the way your Mother would like you to do! May the good Lord bless and keep you strong during this time of sorrow. Love in Christ, Pat Hipp

Aunt Elva was a wonderful lady. We'll always remember her smile and her laugh. She was one of those few people that could make you feel right at home as soon as you walked in her front door. She was a very special person and we are all better people for having known her. Our love and prayers are with you all. With all our love and deepest sympathy. The McCreery Family, Andrew, Sean, Devin, Megan, Paul, and Lew
