Obituary of Ord Allacher
Lifelong Kit Carson County resident Ord Davis Allacher died suddenly on January 23, 2006 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He was 44 years old.
Ord was born on March 1, 1961 in Flagler, Colorado to Willard and Shirley Rae (Karnes) Allacher. He was one of five children.
Ord attended school in the Flagler School System and graduated from Flagler High School in 1979. On December 19, 1987, Ord married Mary Harrel in Burlington, Colorado. To this union three children were born; Michael, Kerrie and Kristin.
At the time of his death, Ord was working for a trucking company out of Denver called Bulkmatic. When Ord was not on the road, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Ord was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and one aunt Evelyn Doncheski.
He is survived by his wife Mary of the home and their three children; Michael, Kerrie and Kristin. He is also survived by his parents, three brothers; Ross Allacher and his wife Becky of Yuma, Colorado, Scott Allacher and his wife Mary and their children Jacob and Jared of Flagler, Colorado and Matt Allacher and his wife Tish and their children, Jared, Jason and James. He is also survived by one sister Jane Jones and her son Vance of Burlington, Colorado.
A Service of Celebration of Ordâs Life was held on January 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Burlington Boy Scout Center with Pastor Jeff Babb officiating. Private family burial will be held in the Fairview Cemetery at a later date. There was no visitation.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to his Childrenâs Education Fund and may be left at the First National Bank in Burlington.
