Betty was a great mom and I am sure a great wife. My parents really enjoyed having Doc and Betty as friends over the years. When it comes right down to it I loved Betty for she never seem to judge people. She always displayed a love for all and any of her fellow man through a time tested rule. Betty seemed to always accept others
unconditionally. That is a rule that is hard to learn.
In some ways Jesus kind of gave us a rule like thatto love one another. so much of our father in heavens holy spirit seem to always live in Betty that some times I could just always see a glow around her as I was visiting with her. I do wish to express my sorrow to all of her children, grand children, great grand children and other closest friends. I must only ask one thing of our father as more of us trudge that route home to his place that he has created for us that Betty will be there for me and others to learn the same swimming lessons she taught me once upon a time when I was cared for by Betty in a swimming pool in Pilger Nebraska as part of Methodist Church official outing on a glorious Sunday way back when Betty was an educator of young children in Nebraska. the year was probably like 1959 or 1960.
If I have offended anyone here please forgive me cause she at times even seemed like the mother I had lost way back in 1978.
Keep on keeping on Betty Jo.
and finally my favorite bible quote is Isaiah 40 verses 28-31 verse 29 is really great, He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. God loves you Betty Jo

To Connie,Lana,Shirley and Clyde, Your mom will be missed because of her enthusiasm for life in general. She was always thinking of everyone around her and how she could help even when she was struggling herself. It is not pleasant to see our parents age and become dependent. I enjoyed our visits at Carla's. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

We will truly mourn the loss of a good friend, good person, and long time neighbor in Limon. I have worked with Betty for many years in various capacities, Senior Center, Church activities and most recently at CCC where she enjoyed playing bingo with us each time we went. I will miss her smiling face and kind words. I am also happy that she is now at home with her savior, and many of her family.u

To the Coffman Family,
Please except my condolences for the death of your loved one. Today you may yearn to see Ms Betty again. The words of Jesus found in John 5:28,29 states, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all those in the graves will hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;..." May these words strenghthen you as the years, months, days and hours pass by. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
