Margie (Nickell) Lehmann posted a condolence

Well, heaven gained two quilters within four months of each other. Fond memories surround our families for many, many years. Even though our moms are in a far better place, I know that you feel as I do--they left us sooner than we would have liked. When mom passed away, my first thought was "I want to see her just one more time." There is a void in our hearts, which in time will be filled with memories of strong, independent women who loved their families totally. God bless all of you. Margie and John Lehmann

And He will raise you up on Eagle's wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palms of his hands. Our sympathy in the loss of your mom. I remember so many good times at your home when we were all in school. Judith (Burrous)Williams

Memories- Grandma Bates and I yelling and booing Jake Plummer of the Broncos, and how he should definately shave that beard off. We also believed that the reason the Broncos won that game was because Grandma Bates had her lucky bronco blanket. Fun times.. Fun times... Love, great granddaughter, Leslie..
