Sorry this is so late, but I still wanted to send my sympathy to all of you. I was first shocked about the passing of Barbara and now your mother/grandmother. She was always a special person to myself and to Brandy. We also both enjoyed reading and I loved going to the library because of Evelyn. She will be missed! Sincerely: Marilyn Lohmeier-Howland

We were surprised to read in this week's newspaper that Evelyn had passed away and we had missed the services!! We enjoyed her so much over the years-children's reading hour, church, Heritage Society... We will be sending a donation in her name to the Heritage Society! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. (Also, our son Craig would like to express his condolences. He has great memories from story hour, etc.) Janet

Grandma Vratil, We will always miss you! The way you laughed, the way you smiled and the way you never left a complete phone message on the answering machine. Thank you for all the love and guidance.

She was the librarian when I was a kid growing up and always encouraged me to read. She was a neat person to know. She is now reunited with her husband Bob. And they will be happy forever

We want to extend our sincere condolences to you. Evelyn was a good neighbor, and we did appreciate her giving our boys the opportunity to mow her lawn. When we first moved to town many years ago, Evelyn was our librarian. Take care and God bless you during this hard time. In Friendship, The Burgesses
