Obituary of Beth Pischke
Longtime Burlington resident Beth J. Pischke, passed away on September 17, 2006 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Colorado. She was 62 years old.
Beth was born in Dalton, Nebraska on February 7, 1944 to Gleason and Gladys Winters. She was one of five children.
On June 15, 1969 she married Ron Pischke at the First St. Paulâs Lutheran Church in Burlington, Colorado. To this union a son was born.
Beth cherished many things in her life such as every moment she spent with her two grandchildren. She truly enjoyed her rose gardens and flower beds. During the winter months she loved knitting afghans and had even more enjoyment in giving them to friends and family. Over the years she has been a collector of Boydâs Bears. She was instrumental in planning for the new building of the First St. Paulâs Lutheran Church and a very active member. Beth was a dedicated Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. She was one good friend.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents Gleason and Gladys Winters, one sister Beverly Brogren and one infant brother Norman Winters.
She is survived by her husband Ron, her son Ross and wife Tracy of Burlington, two grandchildren Dax and Devin of Burlington, two brothers Leon Winters and wife Frances of Sheridan, Wyoming and Neil Winters and wife Debbie of Vancouver, Washington.
Memorial services for Beth were held on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the First St. Paulâs Lutheran Church in Burlington with Pastor Jeff Hanson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Bethâs name to the First St. Paulâs Lutheran Church Building Fund and may be left at the Bank of Burlington, Burlington, Colorado.
