Kim, I am so sorry to hear this heart breaking news. It seems like yesterday we spoke, you were at the hospital with Ben, I was going to arrange to come see you. Time is more precious than we think, I wished I had made the trip. It was a beautiful tribute to Ben, I can't believe how much he's grown. Many times we don't know what God's plans are, but he was blessed to have you as a mom and in his life's journey. I would love to come see you, looked you up one day with no luck but when your ready please send me a line, would love to see the country and bathe in the horse trough. Love Laurie

Hey guys I am so sorry about Ben it is really hard to believe that he is gone and that we can't bring him back. But we have to look at it as he is in a much better place than us and he is living it up right now. He is probably riding his John Deere Tractor and getting suited up to ride a bull. He will always be there for you guys in your hearts and prayers. Good luck with everything and stay strong. I love you all and if you every need a place to turn I will talk.

The picture of your son Benjamin in his cowboy hat caught my eye while reading the Harrisburg paper. I have a son who was born in Denver and wants to be a cowboy too. Thanks for sharing the beautiful tribute to your son. The author Randy Alcorn uses 475 pages telling us about heaven, but those pictures of your son enjoying life has convinced me that there can be great relief in knowing we will see those loved ones again. Our prayers are with your entire family.

Dear Kim, I do not know you, but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your son, Ben. I heard about him from a dear friend, Jill Porter. I too lost a child in an accident 3 yrs ago, and although you feel as though your world is gone, you must take it minute by minute to get through. Remember, no matter how you feel, grief is indivual. There is no guide or timeline. Dont let anyone tell you how to. It is different for everyone. What you feel & do is the right thing for you. Time does not heal all wounds or pain, but it does soften it. My prayers are with you & your family. Carmen Sido

Kim & Family- Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Ben was a great kid, and I have nothing but fond memories of him- especially when he'd sneak off to visit the lake here at camp with Sarah. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling, but I know that you also take comfort in the fact that Ben is with Jesus watching over all of you. They say time heals all wounds- and though it may not seem like it right now, those words are true- the pain will eventually give way to the memories of all the joy and happiness that Ben brought to you in his short time here. God bless you all.

Ben will always have a special place in my heart. His sweet smile and exuberance for life will be with each of us as we remember those special moments we shared with him. I am greatful for each and every minute I had with him as a teacher, a principal and as his friend. I look forward to the day, as I know you do, also; to join him and other loved ones in that beautiful place the Lord has ready for us. May His grace comfort you and guide you as we prepare for that time. Brenda Wham
