Obituary of Eula Fisher
Eula Fisher passed away October 20, 2006 at the Beehive in Hugo, Colorado. Eula was the fourth child of Arthur and Dora Howe, born March 19, 1915 in Unionville, Missouri. The family moved to Genoa, Colorado on March 1, 1922. She entered Genoa School in the second grade, graduated from Genoa High School in May of 1933. She continued school the next year, post graduate.
Eula worked in other homes for four years, then married Wayne Fisher on March 28, 1937. They rented and farmed for six years, then moved to their own farm on March 1, 1943. They had dairy cattle from 1937 to 1960. In 1978, they rented the farm out.
Eulaâs loves were fishing and crafts. Wayne passed away on November 15, 1997 and Eula continued to live on the farm alone with her dog.
Eula was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her siblings, Loren, Norma, Laura, Alice, Betty and Fern.
Services wil be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Hugo United Methodist Church in Hugo, Colorado with Reverend Olga Hard officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 25, 2006 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home Limon, Colorado.
