Obituary of Clyde Baker
Clyde Duane Baker, 73 of Ramah, Colorado passed away on August 24, 2015 at his home.
Clyde was born on October 29, 1941 to Leo Baker and Agnes DeChant Baker in Hudson, Colorado. He attended and graduated from North High School and completed training to be an x-ray technician.
Clyde had three sons; Nicholas Baker, Michael Baker and Doug Baker. Later on in life he married Virginia Gurule on June 14, 1997 in Ramah, Colorado. His family then grew to include two step-children; Nicole and Jason Rael.
The couple enjoyed the quiet life of a small town, where Clyde was an antique collector and enjoyed his animals. He enjoyed dogs and cats and loved spending time taking care of them, and would never turn away a stray animal.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; Agnes and Joseph Zemkus, two sons; Nicholas Baker and Michael Baker.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Virginia Gurule of Ramah, Colorado, son Doug (Shelley) Baker, step-children; Nicole (Justin) Allen and Jason (Ashley) Rael along with nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and friends.
