Obituary of Matthew Bradshaw
Matthew Bradshaw was born the 30th day of December, 1982, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the only child born of Harold A. and Lois Ann (Kocerha) Bradshaw.
He grew up in Simla, Colorado and attended Big Sandy School from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. He was a member of the graduating class of 2001. Matthew proudly served as a volunteer of the Simla Volunteer Fire Department since 2006. He spent many years as an employee of the Town of Simla. He also worked as a farm/ranch hand for many of the farmers and ranchers in the area. Matthew loved his pickup and enjoyed driving big trucks and heavy machinery. Many folks in our community would call on Matthew when they needed a hand with hauling. Matthew loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He was a wonderful son and friend to so many. He had a great sense of humor and could always bring a smile to your face with one of his quick witted comments. Matthew loved his friends of all ages and cherished the time he got to spend with each of them.
Matthew is survived by his mother Lois Ann Bradshaw, Aunt Wanda Kocerha, Uncle Grover Bud (Helen) Parnell, Cousins Theresa (Daren) Jimison, Curtis (Shelly) Kocerha, Gentri (Tim) Settle, Kyle (Kelly) Kocerha, his adopted brother and sister Nathan and Tonya Hisle, adopted nephew Dalton Hisle, and a host of cousins and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Harold A. Bradshaw, Grandparents, John and Maymie (McFarlin) Kocerha, and Frank and Helen Parnell, Uncles Ernest L. Kocerha, Sr., and Thomas A. Kocerha, Aunt Judy Kocerha, Cousins Ernest L. Kocerha Jr., and Jason R. Kocerha.
