Obituary of Pamela Crisp

Pamela Marie Crisp, 39, passed away at home on Friday, January 19, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on October 25, 1967 in Denver, CO to Larry and Jean (Sterrett) Eastin. Pamela spent the majority of her life in the Vona-Seibert, Arriba and Flagler area.
Pamela graduated as Valedictorian from Arriba-Flagler High School in 1986. She then attended Barnes Business College in Denver and graduated with a degree as an Administrative Assistant. She worked in Stratton at the East Central Council of Governments for several years.
Pamela was united in marriage to Chad W. Crisp in Las Vegas, NV on October 02, 1988.
In 1992 she began working for Dr. Scarinzi and it was during that time she was diagnosed with her brain cancer in 1994. When Dr. Scarinzi retired in 1996 Pam continued on at the Plains Medical Center until they were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Caitlyn Marie Crisp on May 22, 1999. She stayed home with Caitlyn until 2003 when she went to work part time for the Arriba Flagler School District. Pamela continued there until her illness kept her home in the fall of 2006.
Pam and Chad took several nice trips over the years. They visited the Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Pikeâs Peak, Breckenridge, Connecticut, New York, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Lake Powell.
Pam also enjoyed golfing, reading, cross stitching and made lots of memories scrap booking.
Pamela was preceded in death by her grandparents Boyd N. and Evelyn M. (Arthur) Sterrett, and step grandfather Lloyd R. Pyle; grandparents Walter R. and Minnie (Anderson) Eastin and step grandmother Clara Eastin.
She is survived by her husband Chad and daughter Caitlyn, parents, Larry and Jean Eastin; her sister Tanya and husband Dave Seymour of Karval, CO and their children; Jamie, Philip, Shelby, Chase, Chance and Kaylee, her brother; Mike and wife Marilyn and their children, Adam and wife Michelle Eagleton, and Suzi and husband Jeff Carlson and their families all of Platteville, CO; mother and father-in-law Charles and Dolores Crisp; and grandmother-in-law Crystal Fager. Pamela was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Arriba-Flagler School Gymnasium in Flagler, CO with Pastor Bob Strauch officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Flagler Fire Department or the Flagler Community Ambulance.
