Obituary of Loretta Dinger

Loretta Kay Dinger, 63, of Byers, CO passed away on January 29, 2007.
Loretta was born in Orlando, FL June 01, 1943 to Claude and Doris (Nicholson) Noel one of three children.
When she was a small child, the family moved from Florida to Fort Collins, CO where her father operated a small farm. In 1950 the family moved to Laramie, WY where she attended school. While in high school, Loretta met Gary Dinger and they fell in love. They were married October 29, 1959 in Taos, NM.
Loretta and Gary moved to Denver in 1960 where their first two children were born. The family moved back to Laramie, WY in 1963 where their third child was born. In 1975 the family moved to Byers, CO.
A few years later the family became involved in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church where Loretta came to know the Lord and served Him and the community in many capacities. She taught Sunday school, wrote the weekly bulletin, held several offices and committee positions and helped organize numerous funeral dinners for people in the surrounding area who had lost their loved ones.
Loretta went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 29, 2007. She is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Jean, her parents Doris and Claude Noel and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her husband Gary Dinger of Byers, CO; children, Ted Dinger (Alan) of Phoenix, AZ; Tania Chandler (Ray) of Byers, CO; Tony Dinger (Gary) of Denver, CO; grandson Kristopher Dinger of Byers, CO, sister, Claudette Mosier (Mike) of Laramie, WY and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Loretta will be greatly missed as wife, mother and friend.
Services for Loretta will be held Saturday, February 03, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation one hour prior to service at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 278 S. Sherman St., Byers, CO.
