I was shocked when i heard in June that Rose passed away. It sadened me greatly. Although I never met Rose, I talked to her on the phone numerous times. She had a great personality. I want to show my sympathy to my half-sister Melissa expecially. I don't know what I would do if I lost my Dad or Mom. Rose will be missed here in Newcomerstown by her family and mine.

Rose, You made us laugh so much when we worked and when we weren't working. You always knew how to makes things fun and you always light up the room when you walked in. You were always full of life and laughter. You have always had a little kid inside of you. I am so honored, glad, and thankful that I got to work with you at Alco, and got to know you as a person. It's so hard to believe that you are gone so soon in life. I think God had plans for you to be that special angel he needed. I know you are a guardian angel watching over your family. May God really bless you and all that you have touched in your life. Again, We were truely blessed to know someone like you Rose. May you rest in peace now. Love Always Your Co-worker, Katie

I am so sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Rose was at Megan and Siobahn's play. I had no idea that she was so sick. My son Christopher was there and we both gave her a gentle hug because she looked so frail. I'm so glad we got to talk to her that last time. She will be greatly missed. She was always so happy and always had a positive attitude. May she rest in peace. Pam and family!

Rose was a classmate and friend to my sister, Meredith McCoy Hoops. Meredith was called home to Heaven nearly 10 years ago now. During her struggle with cancer, while she was in the hospital, she received a lovely letter from Rose. I know Meredith was very touched by that, as they hadn't been in touch for a number of years. Rose was a very special, kind person. May God comfort those she leaves behind.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of your loss of Rose. Please know how very sorry I am. It has been a few years since I last saw Rose but that last time she ran up to me and gave me a big hug and asked how I was and we talked for a long time. She took my Aerobic's class for many years and I was always so glad when she was there because I knew it was going to be a fun hour. Thanks for sharing your memories of Rose in the nice tribute. She will be missed for sure. Sincerely: Marilyn

We Love you all very much. You are in our prayers daily. Thank you Rose for bring the best friend I could ever have into this world. We all know that it takes a village to raise a child and I thank you Rose and Ted for being there for me as Mary and I grew up together. Thanks for the giggly sleep overs. Rose thank you for reminding us to enjoy life, not sweat the small stuff, and keep family sacred. I have always admired Rose and Ted's relationship. Anyone can see how much you loved each other, I only hope that my own marriage will be as successful and full of love as yours. To an amazing woman who touched so many, I so happy that you are finally free of pain and in God's loving arms.

although i did not know rose personally, i feel i knew so much about her from the wonderful job she did with her daughter Mary. Mary was never at a loss to express the love and adoration she felt for her mother, and when a child dotes that much affection on a parent, then that parent is very special. The Bible says that you will know a tree by the fruit it bears. It saddens me to know that tree is hewn down. But through Mary and her family, the love and protection of its shade will continue forever. God bless and keep you all is my prayer.

Ted, Melissa, Mary & Megan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as they have been over the past year or so. My children didn't really get to know Aunt Rose the way I did in having such a wonderful person as an aunt, but we included Aunt Rose in our prayers every night. There is something in the way a child's voice caries those prayers up into heaven that I can't help but to think GOD hears in a special way. Now that Rose is beside Mary I know that they are both going to be eternally happy. May GOD watch over all of you as you go through this difficult time. Love, The Shalosky Family Brian "Bucky", Stephanie, Paul, Susan, and Phillip.
