Obituary of Nancy Baker
Former Burlington, Colorado resident Nancy Louise Baker passed away on October 3, 2015, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer at Hospice of the Valley in Gilbert, AZ. She was 65 years old.
Nancy was born on August 4, 1950 in Akron, Colorado to Roland Ted and Joyce Alice (Kraich) Krier. She was one of 4 children.
Nancy spent her childhood growing up in Greeley, and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1968. On April 30, 1978, she married Charles Wesley Baker in Greeley, Colorado. The couple made their home in Burlington, and lived here until Charlies retirement from the Bank of Burlington. After Charlie retired, they moved to Casa Grande, Arizona, where she resided until her death.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, decorating their home whether in was in Burlington, or Casa Grande, and she especially loved to decorate for the holidays.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Charlie, her brother Jack Krier and his wife Linda of Fort Collins, Colorado, 2 sisters Bonnie Gracik of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Judy Besijn and her husband Tom of Greeley, Colorado. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
