We will miss Elmer a lot. Elmer was one of a kind. He was someone you remember for the rest of your life. I remember him laughing more than anything. It just seemed his whole body shook when he was laughing and smiling and he laughed and smiled a lot. May God be with you. Love & Prayers, Wil & Nikki

Delores, Jim, Raymond, Raylene, and families, We want to extend our sympathy to you at the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. We know you have many fond memories of him. There will be times you'll see something or be visiting with someone and you'll think to yourself, Dad would have enjoyed that or that sure makes me think of Dad. Memories no one can take away from you. With sympathy, Dave and Betty Corliss

Dear Delores, Jim and Cheryl, Raymond and family, and Raelene and family: I am so, so very sorry to hear that Elmer lost his battle with pneumonia and cancer! He has been in my thoughts and prayers for many weeks now since Dad (Herb Schaal) first told our family of his hospitalization in Denver. I was just in Hope Cemetery last week putting flowers on my mom's grave and saw Deb's grave. It made me so sad all over again for Raymond and for all of you. This has been a terribly difficult few years for your family, hasn't it? Raelene, I've lost touch with you over the years, but I remember what good friends we were as kids at Hope Church. Please feel free to email me at spbrowning8390@msn.com if you see this note of condolence. Much love to all of you, Patty and Steve P.S. I wish I could drive out for Elmer's funeral on Wednesday, but I'm having an MRI that morning. :-(
