Obituary of Mike Eisenbart
Raymond Mike Eisenbart was born on March, 20 1950 to Raymond B and Agnes Lampe Eisenbart in Burlington, Colorado. He departed this life on October 28, 2015 after a courageous 10 year battle with cancer.
Mike attended St. Charles Academy and Vona Elementary school, and graduated from Stratton High School in 1968. He attended one year of college at Fort Lewis in Durango, Colorado, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1969.
He married his high school sweetheart Patsy Kordes on June 5, 1971 at St. Charles Catholic Church. Their first child Brandy Joy was born on February 12, 1974 when he was stationed on Adak, Alaska. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1974 and returned to his hometown Stratton to farm with his Dad. He bought their dream property at the end of the road north of Stratton, where he enjoyed creating his wildlife habitat and planting trees. On October 14, 1975 they welcomed their first son Clint Michael. Ryan Raymond was born on October 3, 1980, and Jill Ann on August 18, 1982.
In addition to farming, one of his proudest accomplishments was taking his feed business, Arrowhead Feed & Trailer, from a small chicken shed on the farm, to a business that was able to give back to his community and costumers whom he considered his friends. He also served on the Stratton School Board for 8 years.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family. He gave unconditionally, never expecting anything in return, and he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law, Val & Leona Kordes, 2 nieces, Laura and Dee Brachtenbach, and one Brother-in-Law, Gene Beattie.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy, his children Brandy (Hamid) Lellou, Clint (Elly) Eisenbart, Ryan (Sandra) Eisenbart, Jill (David) Conrads. Grandchildren, Safwane Lellou, Eli Eisenbart, Ahlam Lellou, Grace Eisenbart, Alexis Conrads, Braxton Conrads, Olivia Eisenbart. He is also survived by sisters Nona Kay (Marvin) Garner, Norma Jean (Larry) Fox, Brother-in-law Denny (Kathleen) Kordes, Betty Jean (Larry) Brachtenbach, Beverly Beattie, Valerie (Ron) Thyne. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
