Obituary of Joseph Pridgen
Joseph Allen Pridgen passed away March 29, 2008 at the age of 53 in Seward, Nebraska. Joe was born October 19, 1954 at the Maxwell Air Force base hospital; Montgomery, AL.
Joe was a very busy young boy and active in scouting, fishing & hunting. He attended Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His journey through life was always positive, thoughtful, caring with great love for his family and friends. He held several jobs that he enjoyed, one was helping build an off shore oil drilling platform off the coast of California which lasted about four years. Another job he enjoyed was driving the âRigâ?. His last assignment lasted about 16 years with Seward Motor Freight located in Seward, Nebraska. He won several âSafety Awardsâ? and bonuses while on the road. He often spoke of how beautiful America was. Joe was well read and concerned about the future of America, he followed the Denver Broncos and Corn Huskers for entertainment and always discussed games with his pop.
Joe is survived by his parents Alice M & Charles R Pridgen of Calhan, CO, daughters April Pridgen of Las Vegas, NV, Eden Pridgen of Seward, NE, a brother Charles II and wife Debbie Pridgen of Anglia, WA. and their children Charles R. III Anessa, Frances, Chrystal, Debbie and Amanda, sister Sharon and husband Tom Stott and sons Jerry Stott of Green River, WY and James Ryan of Colorado Springs, CO. sister-in-law Wanda Pridgen of Calhan, CO, and her daughter Jamie Lee Pridgen of Breckenridge, CO.
Joe was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
A funeral service for Joseph Allen Pridgen will be held Thursday ~ April 3, 2008 ~ 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Calhan, Colorado
