Obituary of Carole Evanoika

Carole Evanoika, age 64, of Ramah, Colorado, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Carole was born July 7, 1944 to William and Mildred (Litson) Michel in Garden City, Kansas. She was one of four children. Carole attended school in Simla, graduating in 1962.
Carole married Ted Evanoika on April 17, 1962. To this union two children were born, son Lee and daughter Lori. The family made their home in the Calhan area.
Carole was a member of the Living Word Community Church in Calhan. She enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her grandkids. She decorated cakes for many weddings and special occasions and did accounting and bookkeeping for twenty plus years.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brother-in-laws, Steve and John.
She is survived by her; son Lee (Robin) Evanoika of Peyton, Colorado and their children Shelby and Ashley Evanoika; daughter, Lori (Tim) Ellefson of Simla, Colorado and their children Torrie and Tanna Boyle and Hagen Ellefson; brothers Loren (Nancy) Michel of Limon, Colorado and Leon (Roberta) Michel of Bridgeport, NE; sister Myrna (Kenneth) Hertneky of Ramah, Colorado special friends Jr.and Janie Manyik of Calhan, CO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, her sisters in laws, brother in laws, cousins and extended family.
A memorial service for Carole will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Living Word Community Church in Calhan, Colorado with Pastor Rick Cofer officiating.
A private family burial will be held following the service.
