Obituary of Cleta Nagel

Cleta M. Nagel age 90 of Agate, Colorado passed away Sunday, March 08, 2009 at her home in Agate.
Cleta was born April 20, 1918 at Sheldon, Missouri to Charles and Hazel (Mallory) Davis. She was one of five children born to this union.
Cleta graduated from Simla High School in 1938. On January 7, 1939 Cleta married David Nagel at Kiowa, Colorado. The couple made their home in the Agate area where they farmed and ranched. Cleta always raised lots of chickens and had an egg route for many years in the area. The egg route always gave her an opportunity to visit and catch up on all the local news with folks.
Cleta enjoyed gardening and yard work, she was especially proud of her many flower gardens. Cleta was a wonderful cook, hostess, meticulous house keeper and caregiver for many. Her cheerful spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Cleta is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dave, and one brother Robert. Her sister Darlene Rhodes passed away on the same day just ten hours after Cleta.
Cleta is survived by a brother Denny and wife Sharlene Davis of Littleton, CO, and a sister Reba and husband Bob Benjamin of Agate, CO. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service for Cleta M. Nagel will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, Colorado. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Agate Volunteer Fire Department P.O. Box 146 Agate, Colorado 80101
