I was a classmate of Pat's. He was easy going and fun to be around. I saw Pst only once after we graduated and that was at our last class reunion. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing and I want to express my sympathy to his wife, children and extended family.

I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I want you to know that Joan and I's prayers and thoughts will be with you. Some of my thoughts and memories: Pat and I were the only two boys in the same class for eight years in elementary school. We were kind of like Mutt and Jeff. I remember all the Sunday dinners we had at you guys house during those years. Sneaking the dredges from the bottles of home brew left on the table by our parents. I remember us shaving pigs, riding calves, playing in the tunnels in the hay loft , playing run down between the two gunny sack bases you guys made out next to the box car. I remember all the overnights we spent sleeping in the basement. Being the only boy in my family I remember being thrilled and shocked about how you all interacted. Oh, and I remember chores. I was so glad I lived in town. Finally, I remember the time that Bill, Pat and I went back to Dodge City together. My grandma gave me a coffee can filled with sugar cookies. We spent the whole ride home betting whether or not they would break on the highway when we threw them out one at a time. Without Pat, I would have never experienced those memories. Thanks, Pat
