Fager-Shaw Family
I was sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mom was one of my first and most memorable Sunday School Teachers. I remember her as a kind, soft spoken and tolerant person. With both Louie Crisp and me in the same Sunday School Class, I am sure those wonderful character traits were seriously challenged, but she always had a smile and was genuinely interested in us.

I remember Josephine for being such a "lady." This doesn't really explain it that well, but to me she was always a person who I knew was never going to be unkind to anyone, no matter what happened, and that she was always going to do the "right" thing. I know your family must have wonderful memories and you should all know that she was a great example to your friends also. My thoughts are with you and I hope you are all doing well. Aunt Josephine was a wonderful example of the Proverbs 31 woman. She always was kind, loving, caring, and sincere to me. I remember her as my Sunday school teacher and still have the letters and Biblical references she gave me which I have shared with my children and husband. I will miss her loving ways and thoughtful spirit. I know the devil cursed everyday she woke up on earth to show God's compassion for others. She will be missed by many and I am only one. My love to you all as you remember her.

Aunt Jo endeared herself to me by caring for me when I was a very sick boy. As I remember she and Virgil allowed me to sleep in their bed that night. They had a very small house at that time but graciously shared it with our family for a few days. "Gracious" is the word
that describes her best. Her family is in our prayers.a

When she passed the heavens parted and rejoiced to receive her home in great comfort. It was an honor to have known such a Beautiful Lady.
