Obituary of Esther Taylor
Esther Jane Bramlett Taylor left us on March 25, 2016. Esther was born in Colorado Springs on May 7, 1934 to Paul and Olive Bramlett. She was raised in Seibert graduating in 1952. Esther stayed busy helping at the Seibert family store and restaurant.
In January of 1953 she married Larry Taylor. The first few years of their marriage were spent in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and Oklahoma then settling down in Colorado. She was busy with five children assisting with 4-H, boy scouts, band practice, and athletic events. Esther was a great cook, making some of the best cinnamon rolls, chocolate sour cream cakes and do-dads with homemade Dutch honey. Esther was involved in Bible studies, teaching cameo paint classes, and having a booth at craft shows. She liked to crochet, go bowling, collect recipes, and travel in their camper.
Esther is survived by her husband of 63 years, Larry, daughters Carmel (Jerry), Christal (Steve), sons Mark (Betsy), Myron (Tanya) and Oliver (Angela), a sister Ruth and brother Johnny, and numerous nieces and nephews. She has 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Olive Bramlett, in laws Charlie and Bertha Taylor, son David, brothers Paul, Eugene, Phillip and numerous other family and friends.
Esther was a kind and loving wife, mother, aunt, gramma, sister-in-law with many lifelong friendships. She will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Grace Manor for all the care they have given our mother these past 2 years.
