Aunt Susie was such an inspiration to me over the years. As a young girl I admired her beauty and her wonderful sense of humor. She let us ride her beloved horse, Babe, when we would visit Grandma and Grandpa Sigg in Roggen. Her courage when she lost Uncle Emmett at such a young age was admirable. I valued her advice over the years and looked forward to our phone conversations. Her faith was strong and we shared many discussions about how lucky we were to have it to sustain us through the tough times. I will miss the sound of her voice, especially her sweet laugh at some memory from the past. My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins who must miss her so much.
