Obituary of Lupe Nelly Gallegos

Lupe Nelly Gallegos, age 68 of Ramah, CO passed away June 14, 2017 at the Simla Good Samaritan Center in Simla, CO. Lupe was born on December 12, 1948 in Torrington, WY to Eligio R. and Lucy (Ortega) Flores. She was the 13th of fourteen children. Lupe married Santos Gallegos in Denver, CO on September 5, 1968. To this union two sons were born. Lupe worked as a cook for Denver Public Schools from 1980 to 1988. The couple moved to Simla in 1988 and Lupe then helped her husband in a construction business. She enjoyed watching her sons Rodeo. Lupe is survived by her husband Santos Gallegos of Ramah, CO two sons Santos Gallegos Jr. of Ramah, CO and Raymundo and wife Jacqueline Gallegos and their children Raymundo Jr., Anastasio, and Lilliana. Survived by five sisters and five brothers. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Raymond and Macadio, one sister Mary and a granddaughter Hope Gallegos.
