Ron and I were dorm advisors at Western State College. He had a Ford with a Cobra Jet engine, I had a 65 Impala with a 327 which I thought was very fast. We raced, he passed me like I was standing still. I will never forget how happy he was to beat me.
Ron was my kind of guy, honest, down to earth. We lost touch after graduation but I miss him and those days.

I am so sorry for you fanily loss. Coach Wimmer wsd s great man abd an extremely positive influence on during high school; whether a Knowledge Bowl or Baseball Trip, he would talk for hours about baseball with me.
