Obituary of Mark Arensdorf
Mark Robert Arensdorf, 65, Flagler, CO died Thursday, February 9, at his home. He was born August 7, 1951 at the Great Lakes Naval Training Ctr. Hospital in Waukegan IL.
He was a 1969 graduate of Spearville High School, Spearville, KS and attended Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, KS.
Mark spent his entire professional career in numerous areas of the agriculture industry. He achieved a high degree of expertise in the grain elevator and marketing business, contract harvesting a certified John Deere mechanic and recently retired after ten years in the agriculture chemical industry.
He married Sarah Mellott on August 6, 1988. Mark and Sarah were blessed with two daughters.
He was proceeded in death by Sarah Arensdorf, his parents, Russell and Yozelle Arensdorf, and infant brother, James, a niece, Megan Bode, brothers in law, Johnie Presnall, William Cole and Lawrence Barber.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise Arensdorf and Amanda Arensdorf, both of Flagler. Two brothers, Steve, and wife Ann, Hays, KS, Tom and wife Karen, Flagler. Five sisters, Barbara Presnall, Columbus, KS, Janette Barber, Australia, Susan Shoemaker and husband Dale, Buena Vista, CO, Patricia Bode and husband Bruce, Greely CO, Judi Cole, La Junta, CO. Two grandsons, Coltin and Spencer Nelson, seven nephews, and five nieces.
