Obituary of Loretta Esther Boody

Our precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Loretta Esther Boody has passed into the embrace of her savior Christ Jesus on January 10th, 2017. Loretta is survived by her three natural children; Mary, Don and Mike Whaley, three grandchildren; Kayla, Eli and Michael Whaley, two great grandchildren; Isaiah Noller and Rebecca Fouts. As well as four step children; Ruth Homan, Karen Vivoda, Christine Boody-Kimmick, Kathy Boody, and their children; Mark and Shannon Vivoda, Jessie and Sean Homan, Nicole Aragon, Chelsea and Marissa McIntosh, Tyler and Jeffrey Kimmick. She is preceded in death by her husband Elwin and her parents Carson and Esther (Steinke) Jacobsen. Loretta was born on July 17, 1942 in Riverton, Wyoming. Loretta was a jill of all trades from nursing to publishing, and maintaining her home. Loretta always excelled in her work. She was profound in her family values as a homemaker with a strong emphasis upon love. Loretta served as the conduit of happiness and communication for her family. No matter what the situation, Loretta was the cord in which bound her family together. She and her love, Elwin Boody moved to Burlington in 2000. She will be dearly missed.
