Obituary of Adam N. May

Adam Nicolas May, age 29, formerly of Stratton, Colorado passed away October 3, 2016 in Denver, Colorado where he was currently residing. Adam was born March 19, 1987 in Stratton to Steve and Valerie (Wiedman) May. He was one of three siblings. Adam grew up in Stratton, graduating from Stratton High School in 2005. He then went on to graduate from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2012. Adam was a part of the LaMont Men’s Choir while attending DU. On April 15, 2015 Adam married Zach Dillon in Denver. Making their home in Denver, Adam loved music and singing, and will be remembered for being a great cook. Adam and Zach also enjoyed spending time with their dogs; Obi, Zoe and Zephyr. Adam was a member of the Catholic faith. Preceding Adam in death were his paternal grandparents, James and Carmelita May and his maternal grandfather, Garvin Wiedman. He is survived by his husband, Zach Dillon of Denver; nephew Nico Armijo of Denver; parents, Steve (Valerie) May of Stratton; brother, Phillip (Leah) May and niece Orriah May of Denver; sister, Samantha May of Burlington, and grandmother, Sherry Weidman of Burlington; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family members. He also leaves behind many, many friends who are like family. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his mile of a smile, his infectious laugh, and his heart of gold.
