Dear Family, Want you to know we are sad that Evelyn is gone. But we know she is in heaven and rejoicing to be reunited with other loved ones.In case you are wondering, I am a lst cousin to Evelyn - my mother Alma (Heidbrink) Heider and Evelyn's Dad were brother and sister. From all we know and have heard she was very much loved by all who knew her.

Mrs. Grosshans was a wonderful person. She helped me out immensely when I was teaching schoool in Burlington, She cleaned house for me every other Friday and it certainly was wonderful to come home on Friday evening to a clean house and to have the laundry all caught up and then I could enjoy the weekend with my family. I don't remember ever seeing her without a smile on her face. My sympathy is with your family. I know you have lots of warm memories as do I. Love, Phyllis Bishop

Dear Robert, Keith, Angie, Kelly and all your family... My heart is sad yet rejoicing that Evelyn is now peacefully home with her Heavenly Father. Truly, she has fought the good fight of faith and has been a loving example of Christ's love to many of us who were in her Sunday School Class, VBS, Confirmation class, and working together in LWML. Her life truly reflected God's love for all who knew and loved her. In my heart, she will always be loved and will be missed. I Praise God for our friendship and the many shared memories of fun and laughter we had when we shared the "joy of the Lord" together. She was a cherished Christian mentor to me and has greatly impacted my life. Our family friendship goes way back to the time when our families were members of Trinity together. May God's comfort, strength, peace, and love be with you all during this time of sadness. Love and prayers, Nelda and Dennis McCoy

I was saddened to hear of Evelyn's passing. As far back as I can remember she has been a dear and faithful friend of our famiy. She was such a big part of my growing up years at Trinity and was dear to my heart while at Legacy and Grace Manor. She was a great example of Christian love.
