We were saddened to learn of the death of Bill; he was a good friend and fun to know. Although we have lived away from the area for almost thirteen years, our long-time friends are the ones that we miss the most and, for some reason, always expect to stay the same as when we left. God bless you. With deepest sympathy, Raymond and Sharon Gwartney

Even tho I have drifted far from my home town of Matheson, I still have good memories of the good families who lived and worked there. The King family was one of those with their three boys growing up in those times. I remember my dad, Fred, hiring Bill to help out on the telephone exchange. Even then, he always knew many good jokes! My best wishes to the family, Keven Isgar

We have so many wonderful memories of Bill. My dad Bill Rapp coached the Matheson Baseball team and the Rapp family spent many hours after the game in the King home enjoying each others music. Ron and I enjoyed sitting with Dorothy and Bill at ballgameand listerning to the funny jokes. It was amazing how many he could remember. When Bill was in Korea he sent the three of us Rapp girls a pair of Korean shoes and I still have mine. He and Kenny were like brothers to us. We will miss him. God Bless you. Ron and Mary Ann
