I just wanted to thank you for sharing Janet with us at Limon High School. Her smiling face and generous heart made it a better place. I'm not sure how I would have made it through home economics without Janet's encouragement. She will be missed. May God help you to heal. Janet is now free of pain and suffering; safe in the loving arms of Jesus. Karen Salter (Smith) LHS class of 1982.

I have known Janet since she was about nine years old, and it's very true--I rarely saw her without a smile. We were surprised and sad to hear of her death, but she has a bright happy future ahead of her on a paradise earth. To all of you, her family, we send our condolences and Christian love.

We am SO sorry for your loss. When I was thinking about Janet the first thing I thought of, too, was what was mentioned in her obituary. That is how much she loved being around her family. I can remember all getting together to play guitar and/or piano and singing and just talking and laughing and you could always see Janet's face light up during those times. She LOVED to just "be" with her family. Even thru her limitations she enjoyed her life to the fullest extent that SHE could. I always admired how active she tried to stay. She was always working on a project when I saw her. She did a good job of "bossing" me around when I was little too! She was good at being the "big sister"!! Her family was very important to her and will be the first ones she looks for in the resurrection! My family offers our condolences and sympathies to the surviving family. We want you to take care of yourselves and take your time to grieve but also celebrate the life she did have. The best thing you did for her was teaching her to love Jehovah God. I remember watching her study her lessons for her meetings. I admired her on that too, never realized how much that had impressed on my mind until recently. She's in Jehovah's memory now and we will be with your family to welcome her back very soon. Love from the Rick Spencer family
