Obituary of Patricia Lowe
Patricia Laura Lowe, who liked to be called Pat, passed away on April 9, 2008 in her home after a long battle with cancer.
Pat was born on July 20, 1934 in Sturgis, SD to her parents Bud and Claire Eichenberger. Pat had two brothers, Bob and Buzz; and two sisters, Leona and Joy. Pat was baptized during her youth. Pat spent the majority of her childhood on a farm in Nebraska, later moving to Wyoming. She graduated from Riverton High School in 1952. After High school Pat attended Nurses Training in Denver, CO.
After attending Nurses training, she moved back to Riverton, Wyoming where she was the owner and manager of Avis Rental. Later on, she managed the Airport café. Pat also was a barmaid, where her lifetime friendship developed with her best friend âEmyâ?, who was a barmaid as well.
On November 16, 1963, Pat married Paul Lowe in Riverton. Pat and Paul spent their honeymoon in Dubois, Wyoming. On December 20, 1964, their daughter Joy Lee was born. Pat was employed at the cable TV station in Riverton as a bookkeeper until 1974. Pat was actively involved in the community as well. They spent a week in Germany and a week in Italy with their daughter. Other travel included a cruise to the Bahamas and a trip to Cancun, Mexico with her friends.
In 2007, Paul and Pat moved to their home in Stratton. Where once again, she was surrounded by little angels that come in the form of neighborhood kids. She became a member of the United Methodist Church. Was baptized in her home, surrounded by a few family and friends on April 6, 2008.
