Obituary of Lucie Fogg

Longtime Kit Carson County resident, Lucie Maie Burd Fogg passed away on April 16, 2008 at the Greeley County Hospital. She was 79 years old.
Lucie was born on May 18, 1928 to William Burton and Mabel Alice (Eibert) Burd in Kit Carson County, Colorado. She was one of five children born to this union. She had one sister and three brothers.
She attended school in Vona graduated from Vona High School in 1946.
She met and married Hobert Loyd Fogg on July 23, 1946 in Goodland, Kansas. To this union there were four children born, William, Loyd, Linda and Vicky.
Lucie had many hobbies she loved to do such as playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and taking care of her beautiful roses.
She is survived by her children; Loyd and his wife Tammy Fogg of Goodland, Kansas, Linda Tannehill and her husband Ken of Sterling, Colorado, Vicky Tillery and her husband Terry of Dumas, Texas, one brother Orville Burd and his wife Katie of Vona, Colorado, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son William Loyd, one granddaughter Brande L. Tannehill, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Love Funeral Home in Burlington with Reverend Tom Peacock officiating. Burial followed at the Fairview cemetery in Burlington. Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home in Burlington.
