Obituary of Ethel Devlin
Salida Colorado resident, former Burlington, Colorado resident, Ethel Grace Lundvall Weaver Devlin was born December 11, 1911 in Decatur, Illinois. She died June 19, 2008 at the Columbine Manor in Salida, Colorado at the age of 96.
Ethel enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a Stanley dealer and a member of the Catholic Church in Dalhart, Texas.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Flora (Stafford) Lundvall; two husbands, Jim Weaver and John Devlin; two sons Donald and Dean; two brothers, Virgil and Archie Lundvall; two sisters, Thelma Williams and Lillian Ebler; and one grandson Jimmy Weaver.
Survivors include her son Virgil Weaver and wife Carol of Salida, Colorado; one daughter, Shirley Schmitz of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Violet Knapp of Burlington, Colorado and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren , great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday June 25, 2008 at the St. Catherineâs Catholic Church, Burlington, Colorado. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Burlington, Colorado.
Visitation will be at Love Funeral Home Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 6-8 PM.
