To the family of Weldon Vance. It was always a pleasure working with Weldon. I learned a lot of my carpentry skills from working with him. The years we worked together at Burlington Bldg and Supply were fine. He was such a wonderful craftsman and you could count on his work to be perfect. I always felt like family because Mom and Dad played cards with Shorty and Wreath for years. Dennis and I became very close friends during those pot luck dinners at the card club. My sister Ana Lee was good friends with Yevonne and Weldon often went boating with Ken and I. My heart goes out to your family in your time of grieving. Don & Phyllis Bishop

Weldon and I were in the same highschool class. He was always a good sport, fair, and a friend to everybody. When Bill Baber and I got the Foster Farm where Bill and Billie live, Weldon laid the linoleum in the kitchen. He scribed it in just perfectly, he was a master craftsman. I'm so glad that we went to visit him during the class reunion last year. We had a good visit and it brought back lots of memories as we sat and talked. Donna was in our minds and hearts at the time as Weldon is now. Their presence will always be missed. Sincerely, Lois Pratt Havens

Our sympathies to all the family in Burlington & Greeley. I have fond memories of Weldon, especially when we were all very young and came to the big family home there for Christmases. Later I remember staying at their big red house with my young Children during some kind of family reunion. Seemed he always had a smile or a joke.

Our very deepest sympathy to the families of Weldon Vance. He was a very pleasent and friendly man. I will always remember the pain Weldon and myself was in when we had those shingles. I would see him and visit with him and we both were hurting so bad. But we had time to visit with each other and share good news too. I know you will all miss him very much as will the people and his friends of Burlington. May God Be With Him and all your families. Jim and Kathy Foos
