Obituary of Marjorie Rand - Davis

Marjorie Ann Rand-Davis, age 68, of Arriba, Colorado died in a motor vehicle accident on January 19, 2009, near Genoa, Colorado. Marjorie was born July 6, 1940 to Albert Francis and Madeline J. (Dolph) Gutzman in Cambridge, Nebraska. She was one of 6 children.
Marjorie moved to Colorado from Nebraska as a young woman, graduating from Aurora High School in 1957. Following her graduation, Marjorie married Ben Rand on July 7, 1957 and to this union three children were born; Julie, Monte and Alan. The marriage later dissolved.
Marjorie later married R. Davis. The couple divorced in 2006. Throughout the years, Marjorie enjoyed being involved in the lives of her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She also spent many years in a Bible Study group in Fort Collins.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Bob Brown and nephew John Brown.
She is survived by her children; Julie (Dan) Proctor of Johnstown, CO, Monte (Sharon) Rand of Arriba, CO and Alan (Gina) Rand of Vernal, UT; brother Albert Francis (Marge) Gutzman of Indianola, NE; sisters Ardis Brown of Indianola, NE, Jean (Dave) Wallace of Dunnellon, FL, Kaye (Rob) Bellamy of Elkhorn, NE and Shevawn (Rocky) Willis of Culbertson, NE; numerous nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren with two more on the way.
A memorial service for Marjorie Ann Rand - Davis will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, CO.
