Obituary of Delbert Chase
Delbert Ray Chase, 73, of Flagler, CO passed away on March 23, 2009 at the Lincoln Community Hospital in Hugo, CO.
Delbert was born on September 22, 1935 in Flagler, CO to Emmett Harold and Florence (Fager) Chase, the oldest of five children. He grew up in Flagler graduating from Flagler High School in 1954.
Delbert married Frances Rogers on May 28, 1956 in Burlington, CO and they were blessed with three children.
Delbert was a member and Elder of the First Congregational Church in Flagler, CO. He was a 4-H leader for 20 years, served on the Flagler Town Council for one term, and was also involved in the Flagler Lions Club and FFA Advisory Council. Delbert enjoyed wood working, fishing and country music.
He was preceded in death by grandparents; S.L. and Pearl Chase, one brother Larry Chase, one sister Helen Riemenschneider and grandson Cameron Chase.
Delbert is survived by his wife Frances of Flagler, CO and their children; Del and his wife Lori Chase and their children; Tatum and Maggie of McClave, CO, Shannon and his wife Jill Chase and children Lian and Jade of Peyton, CO and Debra Chase of Colorado Springs, CO and her children; Walter and Zackery Kraft of South Carolina.. He is also survived by his sisters; Agnes Campbell of Arvada, CO and Lois Dickinson of Denver, CO.
A Funeral Service for Delbert Ray Chase will be held Saturday ~ March 28, 2009 ~ 10:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church ~ Flagler, CO
Visitation will be held Friday ~ March 27, 2009 from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. Love Funeral Home Limon, Colorado
