Aunt Gwen- So many happy memories of being with you as a child. Your cooking was devine. I always wanted to grow up to be like you. Organized, talented, smart and passionate about everything you did. My favorite memory was at 12 and you told me to drive in to town. I was so scared but you had faith in me. A defining moment in my life. I love you and I will miss you.

We are all thinking and praying for the family. Gwen was such an amazing sister-in-law. We shared so many fun times. She was so good to all of us Andersons. She always welcomed us when we'd visit, and took great care with my kids when they'd visit in the summer. I will miss her so much.

I was sorry to hear of your mom's passing away. What a wonderful lady she was, always kind and thoughtful. I got acquainted with her when I baby sit for Doug and Don when I was in high school and was reacquainted when we took water aerobics along with Shirley and Karen in Limon. She was always happy and loved talking about her family.

I was so sorry to hear about Gwens death. My deepest sympathy. She was a great lady and even though I never knew her until her stroke and worked with her as a patient at the hospital I loved her and her great personality!! She fought the fight and did it so gracefully!!!! I'll never forget her! Sincerely, Glenda Walstrom

Dear, Doug, Don, Darcy & Dixie, I loved your Mother. She always made you feel like part of the family. I have fond memories of laughing and visiting in the kitchen while waiting for something wonderful to come out of the oven. I loved watching her paint a flower on a piece of china. Today I am blessed to have a couple of pieces of Gwen's china painting. I will treasure them always along with all of my great memories of her. With all of our love we are thinking of you. Love, Gregg & Ronda

Dearest Family Members, We have many wonderful memories of Gwen and her hospitality. We had many great times with your family with all the delicious meals that Gwen served. We all were able to get some of her recipes that we use often. Charlene especially remembers staying with Jim and Gwen during her senior year when Doug was just a little boy (so cute). Sorry we won't be able to be with all of you but will be thinking about you and praying for you. May the Lord bless you all.

My dearest family, I want to send my love to you all and express my sympathy for your loss. Aunt Gwen was such a tremendous influence on my life as she was so giving and truly caring in spite of all the trouble we caused when we visited. I will always remember sitting around her table with wonderful food, fun, conversation and mostly feeling her love. Even in the last few years, she could still give wonderful hugs. I will miss her. You are all in my prayers, Love, Mel

Dear Doug, Don, Darcie and Dixie (and family), We are so sorry for your loss. And what a loss it is for all of us that loved our Aunt Gwen. What a woman! So blessed to have known a woman that gave over 100% to all of us and so many others in her life. She impressed on me to live life to the fullest, do a job right the first time, pursue your interests especially making wonderful pieces of art and of course pickles!!! Aunt Gwen I loved you so much and am happy for you being in your new home, happy and healthy!! You will be missed but the memories you gave us all will last until we join you! Love to all of you and again sorry for your great loss. Gina and family.

Doug, Don, Darcie and Dixie: My thoughts and prayers are with you so much right now. Your mom holds a special place in my heart, as she was one of my mom's dearest friends and was always there for her. When mom came home from Houston to enter hospice, she was one of the first ones there to help us out. Knowing she is finally free of pain and in heaven will help get you through this very difficult time. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed greatly.
