To Buster's family, I was sorry to hear about your loss. I know we will all miss Buster. Buster is the person who took me elk hunting for the first time, that was in 1961. We went hunting many times after that. After I came home from Viet Nam and got out or the Army, Buster was the one that took me to VFW and got me to join. In 1983 I took our horses and my family to South Dakota for a trail ride. The trail guide told me about when they gathered buffalo in Custer State Park in the fall and said I should come back up there for that. I took Buster along with me and we helped gather 2000 head of buffalo in the park. We also visited Mt. Rushmore. With Sympathy, Dave Corliss

To Buster's Family, We were saddened to hear of the loss of your father, and grandfather. He was a special person,a friend to everyone. I know Dave has many good memories of him such as going hunting with him, Carl and him bringing Carl's boys out to our place so they could hunt. I remember one time when he came out here to hunt and he locked his keys in his car. Doris was still alive and he called her to ask her to look for the spare key. He said "How will I get home or to Burlington if they have to make me a key. Dave wasn't here and I told him I'd be happy to take him. He stewed and fretted about locking the key in the car. After we got to his place, he called the car dealer and they told him by the time we would get to town, they would have a key made for him. Sure enough, they did. When we got back to our place, he asked me, "What do I owe you?" I told him "Nothing, I did it for a friend and I know you would do the same." As I said, he was speical and we know you all have special memories of him and will miss him.

My goodness, what wonderful childhood memories I have of Doris and Buster. They took care of me while mom worked at the school. I have shared the story of helping Buster and Doris with the milk machine on the porch in the house north of Bethune many times with my daughter. Another memory--Mom and Dad (Sonny and Ellen) always needed milk from Buster's house on Christmas Eve when we were all little. Santa always managed to arrive at our house in Bethune while we were out getting milk. Buster always had a special twinkle in his eye for us on Christmas Eve and I will never forget how the Jenkins family was a part of the wonderful Christmas traditions for us, the Graham kids. God Bless you all and know that smiles will always accompany the memories!

Ever since childhood everytime I've thought of Uncle Buster it has brought a smile to my face. I will never forget the family reunion in Arkansas when I roped the electrical line with my horseshoe -- Uncle Buster never forgot about that and reminded me last time I saw him. Know that you are in our prayers. God Bless -- Butch and Cynde Quiroz
